Prachuap Khirikhan

      is a province in Thailand's Central Region that connect with the Southern Region. There are many attractive places. Prachuap Khirikhan is divide to 7 districts and 1 sub-district. That is Prachuap Khirikhan province, Amphur Kuiburi 30 kms from city, Amphur Thapsakae 34 kms, sub-amphur is Sam Roi Yod 54 kms, Amphur Pranburi 71 kms, Amphur Bang Saphan 87 kms, Amphur Hua-Hin 90 kms and Amphur Bang Saphan Noi 110 kms.

Bang Saphan and Bang Saphan Noi

     are the final two "Amphur" that the gateway to the Southern Region. In the past, these two districts were renowned as a source of real gold, known as "Thong Neua Gow", or "Number 9 Gold", which was widely regarded as the finest gold. Calling the name of "Muang Kamnert Noppakun", meaning "Town of Pure Gold". Panning for gold was a popular livelihood and pastime amongst the local residents, as could be seen from the sub-district name of Tambon Ron Thong.

Nowadays, however, it is and activity that has almost died out and the attractions most associated with Bang Saphan are the beautiful coral reefs around the numerous islands, and the wonderful, secluded beaches.

Ban Krood Beach

     Located at Tambon Thong Chai in Ban Krood area which is a beautiful, wide expanse of usually deserted beach about 12 kms., hidden away amongst the tranquil life of Bang Saphan. Here, you can mingle with the fishermen and experience the way of life in this coastal fishing community. See how they prepare the dried seafood or trawl for jellyfish which will later be exported.

Mae Ramphueng Bay

     At the south of Prachuap Khirikhan 120 kms. Using Highway No.4 (Petchakasem Rd.) go to Bang Saphan another 17 kms. There is a beautiful bays especially, in the evening blue ocean white sands that suitable for visitors to take a rest.

Bo Thong Larng Bay

     Bo Thong Lamg Bay is a perfect small bay about 12 kilometres from Bang Saphan Administrative Offices. Mountain view and white sand a long the beach with the crystal blue water, this is a nice place to visit.

Nam Tok Sai Khu Waterfall

     is a medium-sized cascade which is both amazing beautiful and natural. To Reach it, turn off towards Bang Saphan and travel about 20 kms. Suitable for people who like adventure trip.


Bang Burd Beach

     Set up at Tambon Thrai Thong 6 kms from Bang Saphan Noi wide and beautiful beach where is good place for travellers who need a private area, also can swimming . In the past, this places growth an origin Bang Burd watermelon.


Khao Thongchai Mount

is the site that offers the prime views of Ban Krood Beach. From here, you can enjoy the vast bay and rows of coconut trees in the distance, as well as gett unspoilt views of the spectacular sunrise and sunset. On Khao Thongchai stands a huge Buddha image of "Phra Kittisrichai" which turns and faces out to sea. This is also the site of "Krom Lung Chumporn Ked Udom Suk" Pavilion which is deeply respected by mariners.
